Our Emotional Support Animal (ESA) documentation service is offered as part of ongoing mental health care for individuals whose emotional or psychological needs may be supported by the presence of an ESA.
ESA documentation is based on a clinical assessment, an established therapeutic relationship, and a clear understanding of how the animal helps mitigate symptoms related to a mental health condition or functional impairment. Our licensed mental health professionals provide compassionate, evidence-based care and evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis.
ESA documentation is not a certification or registration and is not guaranteed. When clinically appropriate, documentation reflects the client’s current needs and complies with applicable federal guidelines, including the Fair Housing Act.
This process emphasizes ethical practice, individualized care, and ongoing mental health support—ensuring documentation is clinically sound, legally appropriate, and centered on the well-being of both the client and their animal.
